Ingredients

  • 4 ounce wild salmon filets
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ cup Thai sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce (or more, to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • olive oil spray
  • ¼ cup sliced green onions (for garnish)

Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Method

  1. Season the salmon with the salt. In a small bowl, combine the chili sauce, Sriracha, and ginger; mix to combine. Brush on top of the salmon.
  2. Spritz the air fryer basket generously with olive oil spray. Working in batches as needed, place the salmon in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  3. Cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit until the salmon is cooked through, about 7 to 8 minutes.
  4. To serve, transfer the salmon to a serving plate and garnish with the green onions.

Notes

  • Tip 1: Store any leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the air fryer for best results.
  • Tip 2: Yes, you can freeze the cooked salmon. Wrap it tightly in foil or freezer bags and store it for up to two months.
  • Tip 3: Serve with a fresh salad, rice, or steamed vegetables to create a complete meal.
  • Tip 4: For those who prefer a different protein, try using chicken breast or tofu with the same marinade.
  • Tip 5: Experiment with different garnishes, such as sesame seeds or fresh herbs, for added flavor and visual appeal.
