  • 1 package On-Cor Gravy & 6 Salisbury Steaks
  • 1 cup frozen peas & carrots thawed
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes

Equipment

  • Oven

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray 4-6 mini Dutch Ovens or individual ramekins with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Cook the On-Cor Gravy & Salisbury Steaks in the microwave according to package directions. Let stand 1 to 2 minutes before removing with oven mitts from microwave.
  3. Remove the Salisbury Steaks from the gravy and cut each steak into bite-size pieces.
  4. Spoon a layer of mashed potatoes into the bottom of a mini Dutch Oven or ramekin. Add one chopped Salisbury Steak on top of the potatoes with ¼ cup gravy and then add a layer of peas and carrots. Spoon or pipe on another layer of mashed potatoes to cover the peas and carrots. Repeat with remaining ramekins. Reserve the remaining gravy for serving.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the potatoes begin to lightly brown.
  6. Serve with reserved gravy and a fresh green salad.

  • Garnish: A sprinkle of fresh herbs, like parsley or thyme, can brighten the dish and add a pop of color.
