- Preheat your oven to 375ᵒ.
- Grease a gratin dish well using butter or cooking spray.
- Add half of the potato slices, overlapping them to cover the bottom of the dish.
- Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper.
- Add ¾ of the heavy cream over the potatoes.
- Add ¾ of the mozzarella cheese, distributing it evenly.
- Cover with the remaining potato slices.
- Once again, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Add the remaining heavy cream over the top layer.
- Sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella cheese on top.
- Place in the hot oven and bake for 30 to 40 minutes.
