Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups Hungry Jack Wheat Blends Pancake & Waffle Mix
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • zest of 2 lemons
  • fresh berries
  • powdered sugar
  • Hungry Jack Microwavable Syrup

Method
 

  1. Preheat your waffle iron and set it aside.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together all the ingredients for the waffle batter until mostly smooth.
  3. Grease the hot waffle iron with melted butter.
  4. Pour 1/4 to 1/3 cup batter into each section of the waffle maker.
  5. Cook the waffles to your preferred level of doneness.
  6. Once cooked, carefully remove the waffles from the iron.
  7. Continue cooking until all the batter is used up.
  8. To serve, stack the waffles on a plate with fresh berries and powdered sugar.
  9. Drizzle with warm syrup for that extra sweetness.
