Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 cans Cream of Chicken Soup (10.5 oz each)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature, cubed)
  • .6 oz Zesty Italian dry salad dressing mix
  • 16 oz Extra Wide Egg Noodles

Method
 

  1. Spray the crockpot liner with non-stick spray. Place the chicken in the crockpot and season with black pepper.
  2. In a small bowl, cream together the cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and dressing mix. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
  3. Cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high heat for 4 hours. When the cooking time is up, carefully shred the chicken with two forks and mix it into the gravy in the crockpot.
  4. Prepare the noodles according to package directions and serve the chicken mixture over the prepared noodles.

Notes

  • Add vegetables: Add vegetables like peas or broccoli during the last hour of cooking to make it an entire meal!
  • Use crockpot spray: Spray your crockpot with cooking spray before adding the chicken to make clean-up easier!
  • Substitute chicken: Substitute boneless, skinless chicken thighs for the boneless, skinless chicken breasts or use a mix of both.
  • Season wisely: I don’t add any extra salt to this recipe because the soup I use has enough. Remember, you can always add more salt, but it’s hard to take it out, so season at the end!
  • Alternate pasta: We love egg noodles, but you can substitute your favorite pasta shape or serve it over cooked brown or white rice.
