Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces salmon unpacked and defrosted
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt to taste
  • 1.5 teaspoons pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup hot honey Recipe ready
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme or oregano minced, or 1 teaspoon dried
  • 1 pinch dill
  • 1 slices lemon

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Start by making the hot honey which can be stored in a jar at room temperature for up to a year.
  3. Place the salmon on a parchment lined baking sheet, and season on both sides.
  4. To make the salmon marinade, use a skillet over medium low heat.
  5. Add the butter and garlic, cook them for 2 minutes.
  6. Then add the honey and soy sauce and cook for 1 minute.
  7. Remove from the heat and add in the herbs.
  8. Drizzle that sauce all over the salmon making sure to brush the sides and coat the salmon as best as you can.
  9. Place the salmon in the oven and cook for 18-20 minutes until cooked through.
  10. When the salmon is ready, drizzle with extra hot honey.
  11. Serve and enjoy!

  • Choose your preferred type of salmon fillet: You can choose skin-on or skinless.
