Ingredients
  

  • 3 pounds chicken wings patted dry
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese grated, divided
  • 1/8 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare your baking sheets by lining them with wire racks or parchment paper.
  2. Toss the chicken wings with olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper. Make sure each wing is evenly coated.
  3. Arrange the wings on the prepared baking sheets, ensuring they are spaced out evenly.
  4. Bake the wings for about 40 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time.
  5. Broil the wings on high for an additional 8 to 10 minutes, keeping a close watch.
  6. While the wings are broiling, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  7. Stir in 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, and additional salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Once the wings are out of the oven, coat them in the garlic Parmesan sauce.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
