Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line two large-rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
In a large mixing bowl combine the melted butter, lemon juice, garlic, black pepper, paprika, and salt. Mix until well combined.
Dry the wings well with paper towels, which helps to give the wings a crispy skin. Add the wings to the butter mixture and coat completely and evenly.
Place the wings on the first baking sheet. Sprinkle cornstarch over the wings. Toss to get an even coat of cornstarch all over the chicken wings. Top with parmesan cheese all over the wings, tossing as needed to coat both sides.
Set the wings on the second pan skin side down in a single layer. See notes.
Place the wings in the oven and bake for 45-50 minutes or until crispy and golden brown. Flip them with tongs half way through the cooking time. Check the wings with a meat thermometer to make sure they reach an internal temperature of at least 165 degrees.
Serve wings immediately and enjoy! Sprinkle with additional parmesan cheese and fresh parsley and serve with a dipping sauce if desired. Enjoy!
