Ingredients
  

  • 2 bunches Swiss chard Rinsed and chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic Freshly crushed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed
  • Salt and pepper To taste

Method
 

  1. Separate the Swiss chard stems from the leaves using a sharp knife. Chop the stems into ¼-inch pieces. Chop the leaves roughly. Crush the garlic cloves.
  2. In a nonstick pan, heat the olive oil on medium heat. Add the garlic and Swiss chard stems. Sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Add the Swiss chard leaves. Sauté for another minute.
  4. Squeeze the lemon juice over the Swiss chard. Lightly season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Sauté for another minute, and then serve.
