Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for about 5 minutes.
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Rub each chicken breast with olive oil. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning blend. Sprinkle the seasoning mix evenly over both chicken breasts, making sure to coat both sides thoroughly.
Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, skin-side up. Ensure they are not touching to allow for even cooking. Air fry at 400°F for about 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the skin is crispy and golden brown.
Remove the chicken breasts from the air fryer when done, and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
In a large pot on medium heat, add the olive oil. Add the chopped onion and stir for about 5 minutes until translucent. Add the minced garlic and stir for an additional minute until fragrant.
Pour in a jar of your favorite pasta sauce and stir to combine. Allow the sauce to simmer for 10 to 15 minutes to meld the flavors together.
While the sauce simmers, boil your favorite pasta to al dente according to package instructions. Drain the pasta.
Set the pasta sauce aside, off the heat. Stir in the fresh chopped basil and cream.
Add the drained pasta to the sauce and mix well to coat. Serve pasta family style with sliced chicken on top. Sprinkle with parmesan and fresh basil leaves and enjoy!
