Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil optional
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs 4 thighs, chopped into bite sizes
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 Tbs rice vinegar
  • 3 Tbs honey
  • 2 Tbs water
  • 2 Tbs liquid aminos soy sauce, or coconut aminos
  • sea salt to taste

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, heat avocado oil and toasted sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the chopped chicken thighs to the skillet, spreading them out in an even layer. Let them brown undisturbed for about three to four minutes, watching for a nice golden color to develop.
  3. Stir the chicken and continue cooking until it achieves a beautiful golden-brown hue. This should take another three to four minutes. The chicken should be cooked through and juicy.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the honey garlic sauce. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, honey, water, rice vinegar, and liquid aminos. It’s okay if everything doesn’t blend perfectly at first; it will come together during cooking.
  5. Once the chicken is browned, pour the sauce over it in the skillet. Stir well to coat all the chicken evenly in the delicious sauce.
  6. Cook everything together, stirring occasionally to make sure the sauce thickens appropriately. This should take about eight to ten minutes, and you'll notice much of the liquid will evaporate, leaving a thick, glossy coating on the chicken.
  7. Once the sauce has thickened to your liking, taste your dish and add sea salt as needed. The final touch will really elevate the flavors!
