Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons Salted Butter softened
  • 6 ounces Cream Cheese softened
  • 2 1/4 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 6 large Eggs room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 1/4 cups Cake Flour
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Evaporated Milk
  • 1/2 cup Salted Butter cubed
  • 1/2 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Sprinkles

  • 15×10-inch Sheet Pan
  • Electric Mixer

Method
 

  1. Spray a 15x10x1-inch sheet pan with baking spray. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Using an electric mixer, cream butter, cream cheese, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, scraping down the sides of the bowl to make sure everything is evenly mixed.
  4. Beat in vanilla.
  5. Add flour and beat until blended.
  6. Pour batter into prepared baking dish. Spread it evenly.
  7. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Let cool.
  8. To make icing, stir together sugar and evaporated milk in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  9. Cover and turn heat down slightly. Let simmer with lid on for 2 minutes.
  10. Remove from heat and add butter and chocolate chips. Stir until melted.
  11. Let icing cool slightly and then pour evenly over cake. Sprinkle with sprinkles if desired.
