Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • to taste Balsamic Vinegar Drizzle on the non-buttered side of the bread
  • 4 slices Whole Wheat Bread Rustic, seedy type
  • 2 ounces Sharp Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 1 Red Apple Sliced thinly

Method
 

  1. Heat a skillet or pan over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Flip and drizzle the other side with balsamic vinegar.
  3. Layer cheese, then apple slices, then a bit more cheese to the side with the balsamic vinegar.
  4. Top with the remaining bread slices, so that the butter is facing out on both sides.
  5. Place on the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes or until the bread has turned golden and crispy. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes, making sure the cheese has melted.
