Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans 15 oz cans black beans drained and rinsed (reserve ¼ cup of the liquid from the can)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro roots
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil

Method
 

  1. Add all the ingredients, except the reserved liquid and olive oil, to a food processor and blitz until you have a finely chopped mixture.
  2. Pour in 1 tablespoon of the reserved liquid and puree again.
  3. Add the liquid gradually until you have a dip consistency.
  4. Refrigerate until needed.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil just before serving.
