  • 2 teaspoons Butter unsalted is best
  • 1/4 cup Beurre blanc sauce

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Chef's Knife
  • Baking Sheet

Method

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. 2. Pat the fish dry with paper towels to ensure even cooking and optimal seasoning adherence.
  3. 3. Prepare baking dish with a teaspoon of olive oil at the bottom.
  4. 4. Layer lemon slices, garlic slices, and herbs in the dish.
  5. 5. Place the seasoned Chilean sea bass fillet on top of the layers.
  6. 6. Top with a teaspoon of butter on each fillet for added richness.
  7. 7. Bake for about 20 minutes or until the fish turns opaque and flakes easily.
  8. 8. Drizzle the Citrus Beurre Blanc over the baked fish for extra flavor.
  9. 9. Let the fish rest for 3 minutes before serving.
  10. 10. Serve with extra sauce on the side for a burst of flavor.

Notes

Pat the fillets dry before seasoning or baking. Make sure to layer the flavors at the baking dish, and finish off with butter on top. If the fillets are very thick, add an extra 10 minutes of baking time. Drench the fish in the sauce immediately after baking to maximize flavor absorption.
